The prologue is almost done! Just 1 more page to go. It's kind of a dull page, so I'll update it on Sunday, then add the cover for chapter 1 on Monday.
Bonus Page!

Nice set up. The artwork is really good too. The top panel looks like it took some time and the perspective is spot on. I find crowd shots a pain but you seemed to have pulled it off well. I always struggle to differentiate them which takes up most of the time.
All that aside though, I look forward to reading this. I like fantasy set stories.

Thanks a lot!

This page took a long time to finish; mostly because of the crowd.

I hope it doesn't disappoint!

I always joke with my d&d group that when you're already the most powerful wizard in the world, what else is there to do but travel the cosmos and gamble?

Don't forget the immortality thing 17th level wizards can do in 5e.
1. Cast demiplane and enter your unreachable safe house.
2. Cast astral projection so your mind is now in the astral plane.
3. Return to the plane of existence you started in.
And voilĂ ! You are literally immortal. If someone kills you, repeat steps 2 & 3, also, you don't age while this is happening. The only way to die for real is if somebody infiltrates your demiplane, but they can't because of how demiplane works.

Since the nations apparently already have UN-like meetings, I can see the Arch Wizard's solution being a reasonable one.

I also like the meeting hall, and how it is decorate with statues of (what I presume are) heroes long passed. I get a sense of this world having a history and depth.

Is Arch Wizard Aldos some false manifestation conjured by the teased antagonists that lurk within Marblegate? Created to ensure there is a steady stream of adventurers?

Let the anarchy begin I always say. That's an evil looking staff. This wizard is eeeevil.
