Apparently bleeding is for lesser beings.

Of course. The outside is just a shell; a form assumed for the sake of helping mortals understand what they are seeing.

I don’t think his true form is something even those brains want to see. But if they die like the Martians from Mars Attacks from seeing it, then that’ll be interesting

I was hoping for a sound effect more like a squelch than a stomp.

If this keeps going, Randulf will arrive, and complain that she didn't leave at least one alive, for him to question...

He's dying to get a glimpse of that one level he's obsessed to find again. He'll be really mad that the seer-bellums are dead by the time he gets here, after having learned that they can peer into other levels.

And then Randulf tries to do the ritual himself and sacrifice her.
:) 17th Nov 2021, 4:51 AM edit delete reply
Obviously he will do that :)
I foresee that: The seerbellums - being intelligent and perspective - will convert to the sheepish god, Colleen will be their prophet. Randulf - being desperate - will fall for the dark side. A great war between the seerbellums and a cyclope slave army will ensue.
That reminds me: Where, who and what is the prophet of the blind god?

Ramming speed !!!!

It would behoove them to run away right about now.

Holy sheep! Ramming speed!
Bookeater_otaku 15th Nov 2021, 3:14 PM edit delete reply
That's the definition of stepping on your enemies.

The damage on the Sheep and the contrast between the shell and the glowing inside look awesome.

Almost kinda wish that instead of a sheep she should have summoned Mario to do the stomping.

I was browsing through the archives and I ran (or should I say rammed ;-) ) into this page:

Her savior took the form of the creature she used to fear?
someone 15th Nov 2021, 7:44 PM edit delete reply
The creature she summoned to save her from the monsters took the form of something she thought was very fierce and dangerous.

Well spotted! The next page makes it even more obvious: https://marblegate.webcomic.ws/comics/191/

It takes more than some lame old columns to incapacitate a divine sheep!

Yeah, when something rams things AND keeps an EYEBALL on its forehead... it is probably is not too susceptible to physicals damage.

Also I hope Colleen gets a share of the experience -- these things seems super high level (ka-ching!)

I figured the ram was just a form it chose to adopt, but I kind of like how there's nothing visible between the cracks but light. I mean, thematically, light is fitting, but I also like to think it's because what's underneath is just too incomprehensible to make sense of, so instead mortal eyes just see a sorta negative space.

Next page better be a squelching so bad it makes is go...

I wonder how long Colleen can keep it there. It suddenly disappeared the last time and lasted at least 3 rounds before that occurred. This stomp attack here puts it's current existence at around 3 rounds. One for first attack, 2nd a miss and chase, 3rd for this stomp.

...Not that this comic would translate 1:1 with RPG type rules.
