"Now then, let's see what's this *important* message that just *had* to be delivered personally... hmmm... hmmm... Can't say I ever heard of any 'Principality of Nigeria'..."

or "This letter offers to sell me a potion which will increase the size of my … oh my!"

Hand-deliver copies of this letter to ten other wizards within three days or your potions will curdle.

Feyfolk? Better hide the valuables.

the valuables have already been subjected to an unprovoked kissing.

Ah, that wizard know what's up. Not the first time this happens apparently and I dare to say 'frequently' as well.

Look like Colleen has been suckered into waiting for nothing. Or maybe she had the right instinct to see this through and would have suffered consequences if she didn't because she accepted and sealed the deal with a kiss.

If nothing else, it's a good reason to meet the most powerful man in the area. Which can always be useful.

"That's what the name on the door says, at least"
Does that mean this isn't Aldos?
David Argall 31st Mar 2020, 3:03 AM edit delete reply
While "That's what the name on the door says, at least" does not guarantee this is Aldos, this is more often a polite way of saying "Of course I am, you stupid twit. Who did you expect?"
Guest 31st Mar 2020, 9:23 AM edit delete reply
Ah, I rather doubt that most people have that harsh intentions, more like slightly annoyed.

I like how serious the Wizard is about his coffee.

This shows that he is a true man of culture.

add while stirring: three parts Frangelico, four parts Cointreau and two parts, no more, of Tia Maria

Really like the Ioun stones floating around his head. Also, I really glad the the satyr was not harassing her. It was just a case of culture misunderstanding.
Nutster 28th Mar 2020, 4:23 PM edit delete reply
Those are just runes. Sydney has the Ioun stones floating around her head.

When Aldos is finished, that is going to be some of the most delicious craft soda pop ever made!

"Just put that letter down here. Let's see if there is a curse or poison on it."
"Poison?! I have been holding it for the last hour or so."
"Don't worry. These would be targeted to me. It would not affect you because, well, you are not me. That is part of why this letter was supposed to be delivered into my hand. If you had put it in my hand, the curse, if it is there, would have activated. Now, let's see what exactly is on this thing."

Exactly what I was thinking and much better put.
