There it is! We have first contact for an open eye! I repeat, we have contact for one open eye for the brothers.

They are white and not unsearchable pit of darkness like theorized! What an unexpected discovery!

Joke aside, nice use of perspective for the falling wood beam.

You could actually see their eyes back on page 6-9

Yeah, but you've only shown a right eye before.

Now they have a full pair between the two!

Those two Goth-kids are useless. Couldn't they have moved the beams themselves!?!
Guest 28th Jun 2019, 7:12 PM edit delete reply
Well, they did try before they ran for help, but they were not strong enough, which makes sense given how heavy beams can be.

Yup! They're also all piled on top on each other and lodged together

Rotten old buildings are dangerous; I like how the comic illustrates that.

It also shows another important principle: When an accident is in progress and you seek to help, the first part is to stop the accident and prevent it from getting worse. For instance, when there is a car accident, a very important part before physically lending help to others is to prevent further collisions on yourself and those in need of help from other vehicles. And when someone is drowning in a river, it is very important to be wary of what to do - there may be undercurrents, and the drowning one might focus on instincts and end up grabbing and dragging you, and so end up drowning both you and them. I recall reading newspaper articles about people where a sibling was drowning, and other siblings, relatives, friends or passersby, when trying to save them, ended up drowning as well. In such a situation, it may make more sense to get a strong swimmer that knows what to do - and becoming physically strong and a good swimmer yourself can be good preparation, though wariness is still required. It is easier when there are life guards present, since they presumably have training and likely a bit of experience. Teaching yourself and other swimming and good precautions, as well as swimming only in good weather in safe areas without undercurrents and the like, can help.

I wonder, will she find her faith materialised as she heals her father? Or is her mom blessed as well and she will perform a miracle? Damn good tension building.

The real enemy here is trees! Even in there undead state (boards) they are still trying to kill good hard working people! We must do away with the evil trees!
Spider-man 3 29th Jun 2019, 9:25 PM edit delete reply
If trees weren't evil, the highfather wouldn't attack them with lightning.
