Don't stand still unless your in a group move and keep moving. If you can't move find a wall and anchor yourself to it. Melee combat is all about movement and action. Keep moving.

Thanks very much! I'm always worried my action scenes are unclear. Glad to know they are ok.

Does she not have the Turn Undead ability or does her faith not support it?

No, she doesn't. Some clerics do, but she doesn't. Magic and abilities in this comic are loosely based on D&D and Pathfinder rules from various editions, but only loosely.

Characters in this story are not as powerful/ability-ridden as the gaming counterparts. Trying to write a story completely around the mechanics of a game really hinder a writer's ability to tell a story.

But even if she did, all I'll say is, those "skeletons" are not alive by necromancy... it's the things growing in them that are alive ;)

She would also be too low level to actually turn them. Plus is it is an evil cleric that raised them, they may not be turn able. Boaster undead helps to mitigate turning. These may just be fungus powered instead of negative energy monsters.

Hope Randulf isn't in a hurry. It's going to take ages to rekill all of those little guys if Ms Colleen has to do it all on her own. Now is the time a third party member would come in handy, if only to act as ablative pointman.

True, if only there was someone or something to come help them...

Turn economy says this will not end well. She's up against at least 5 opponents, and has already blown 2 spell slots. That being said I can't shake the feeling that there's something to be exploited by the fact that the skeletons are gas spores.

Too many attacks is never a fair fight!

But can you imagine how many attacks that 4 armed, two-tailed centipede gets?

Well.. fungus makes for a rather good tinder once it's dry. How do you dry it? well.. fire.

And we know about at leas one pyromaniac roaming around the marble gate...

Sorry to say it, but I think this page has some issues with panel layout. As in, it's difficult to determine what order to read the panels in.

Some of the page is pushing me to read it left-right, down to lower left, right, down to lower left, etc. But then I also kind of want to read straight down in a column on the left hand side, then go to the right and read straight down the column on the right hand side. It requires careful study of what's going on to figure out which one seems correct.

I think the issue is that there's a clear gutter between the left and right panels for most of the page, but no gutter between top and bottom panels, leading the eye to just keep drifting straight down as the proper reading flow.
