Sorry the page is late, guys! I'll have it done by tomorrow!

New room finally, after 2 months

Haegan2005 10th Jun 2018, 12:25 AM edit delete reply
A new room indeed. And if I miss my thoughts a new challenge as well!
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 2:56 PM edit delete reply
Nah, I'm sure it'll be perfectly safe.
Chippewa Ghost 10th Jun 2018, 12:31 AM edit delete reply
Chippewa Ghost
Oh THAT'S a good idea...
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 2:56 PM edit delete reply
They're all full of good ideas, aren't they?
Guest 10th Jun 2018, 1:29 AM edit delete reply
Our daring healer would have to babysit Sera's stupid ass. Entitled ass elf
Derrick 10th Jun 2018, 3:11 AM edit delete reply
Aren't all elves entitled asses? :)
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 2:57 PM edit delete reply
Yup, probably.

But she's too busy babysitting an alcoholic dwarf.
pkrankow 10th Jun 2018, 2:11 AM edit delete reply
Talk about backstabbing...
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 2:58 PM edit delete reply
And I thought backstabbing was the rogues' job.
Guest 10th Jun 2018, 3:34 AM edit delete reply
............... Marigold, Sera, cool it. What's more important, your lives or suffering through a "fumbling dork"?

These party dynamics are going to be the death of them more than anything. I've seen it to parties I DM'd...
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 2:59 PM edit delete reply
In there defense, Colleen doesn't exactly scream "hardened dungeoneer" by her appearance or mannerisms.
Rudofaux 10th Jun 2018, 3:52 AM edit delete reply
A random cave that looks like an open mouth? Nope, no problems at all.
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 3:01 PM edit delete reply
Just because it looks like a mouth doesn't mean it wants to eat you; it might just want to talk :P
Bookeater 10th Jun 2018, 8:14 PM edit delete reply
Oh, good, a mouth... I thought it was actually the opposite end and they were going to walk into some gigantic anus.

Glad to be wrong.
padanew 10th Jun 2018, 4:56 AM edit delete reply
As long as the butterfly fairies don't go around saying "Hey Listen!" I think they will be ok.
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 3:02 PM edit delete reply
God, there's like 5 of them, too.

Do not try to escape RCMP are on they way now to arrest you. Also, be sure you have some all dressed chips handy are it is a long way from Canada and they are likely to be hungry. Thank for your time and attention.
scared192 10th Jun 2018, 7:52 AM edit delete reply
those two seem girlfriend and boyfriend
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 3:03 PM edit delete reply
They are. Not to spoil anything in the future, but it's defiantly not what others would consider a "wholesome" relationship...
Worstcase 10th Jun 2018, 9:46 AM edit delete reply
Welcome to the Dire Alligator's lair folks!
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 3:03 PM edit delete reply
At least he's not in the water this time :)
Worstcase 10th Jun 2018, 11:03 PM edit delete reply
I'm not sure that is an improvement - when they find out that place has only one exit and the D-Aliigator is blocking it, they'D likely wish it was somewhere in the water elsewhere.

Alright, this area sticks out like a sore thumb in this dungeon, this means we'll most likely see some interesting enemies. My guesses are:

1. Some kind of Golem
2. Dire Caterpillars
3. Knee-capping Garden Gnomes
Rocktopus 10th Jun 2018, 3:04 PM edit delete reply
It's weird that it'd be right next to a sewer, huh?
Verycoolname 11th Jun 2018, 4:31 AM edit delete reply
It's always important to avoid bits of the dungeon that look out of place: they'll kill you. Also avoid the bits that look safe: they are traps. The suspicious parts are dangerous too. Actually, just go back to your farm and let some other idiot go in the dungeon.
Bookeater 10th Jun 2018, 8:22 PM edit delete reply
Great page.

And wow, I was hoping Marigold to be the voice of reason but she is just as much of a backstaber. I wonder if she is prejudiced over rogues, thieves and poor people in general or its just that one? I represent this story theme very well: It's hard to find adventure compagnion you would trust, work well with or simply appreciate.

In pannel five, there should have been glowing eyes behind the grate after Oz walked past it. It's traditional to have glowy predator eyes in the darkness behind a sewer grate.
Bookeater 10th Jun 2018, 8:25 PM edit delete reply
Oops, I thought she was talking about Oz and not the pyromaniac alchemist. Sorry.
Rocktopus 11th Jun 2018, 2:08 AM edit delete reply
Yup, she's griping about Alexus the Alchemist, not Ozzi
Crinos 11th Jun 2018, 4:31 AM edit delete reply
Can we just skip to the part where these morons get TPKed, and then the "Annoying Cleric" and her Drunken Dwarf have to save the survivors?
Rocktopus 11th Jun 2018, 5:26 AM edit delete reply
nope, can't do that
URBAM 11th Jun 2018, 12:55 PM edit delete reply
"I'm not babysitting her just because she has healing magic."

Well, EXCUUUUUUUU-SE ME, PRINCESS! That's exactly WHY you should babysit the "Dorky".
DaveP 12th Jun 2018, 3:39 AM edit delete reply
"Why should i have to babysit the corpsman, just because he carries the medical bag and knows how to use it?"
-- said no Marine, ever.
Crinos 12th Jun 2018, 12:53 PM edit delete reply
Rule number one of a successful dungeon run: You never, ever, EVER, diss the white mage.
Grim 11th Jun 2018, 8:34 PM edit delete reply
Love the colors in that cave; I'm sure the beautiful sparkly water and butterflies are perfectly harmless.
So what's up with that bar behind Ozzi's head in the "sigh" panel? Broken or being held in the middle by something very black? Or am I obsessing over trivial details?
Rocktopus 12th Jun 2018, 1:03 PM edit delete reply
Just a broken bar there;
Auraknight 11th Jun 2018, 9:24 PM edit delete reply
Crossbow vanguard seems a little more bearable now that we know it wasn't his idea to ditch the Clerc. Still, this cave feels familiar...
Rocktopus 12th Jun 2018, 1:03 PM edit delete reply
All it needs is a waterfall...
Rudofaux 15th Jun 2018, 3:12 PM edit delete reply
Is there ever a chance for adventures to run into each other within Marblegate's dungeons or is every foray a pocket dimension/instance?
Rocktopus 15th Jun 2018, 8:28 PM edit delete reply
Technically, yes it's possible, but the odds are astronomically low
Rudofaux 16th Jun 2018, 4:45 AM edit delete reply
Astronomically low or not implemented astronomcally low?

I kid, I kid.

Ether way, I like your work. You certainly put a lot of effort & thought into it. You even have a lore & background. All in all, You are doing great.
kyrtuck 12th Jun 2018, 4:39 PM edit delete reply
So I guess this party has t pack lots of healing potions then?
yetanotherguy 12th Jun 2018, 9:28 PM edit delete reply
Well the alchemist does have some vials with red and blue liquids in them, though whether some of them are healing potions or not I don't think have been revealed yet.
Worstcase 13th Jun 2018, 9:53 PM edit delete reply
My money is on it being a bottle of powerade and one of coolade XD
Because I don't think he brought anything useful to the dungeon.
yetanotherguy 14th Jun 2018, 4:29 PM edit delete reply
To be fair, that "Firebelly Weed" could have been very useful in the right circumstances if used with care. With extra stress on "with care".
Guest 15th Jun 2018, 7:56 AM edit delete reply
> Alchemist
> With Care

Pick one. Hehehehehe
Rudofaux 15th Jun 2018, 3:13 PM edit delete reply
Well I don't see any "NO SMOKING" sings.
melaredblu 20th Jul 2018, 8:45 AM edit delete reply
I suppose they also blame everyone else for the team's poor morale, to boot.
